Its official I really do have a baby in me!

So this is me at 15 weeks :) Weight gained -6 pounds. I lost 10 right away and have gained 4 back. I fnally had to break down today and by myself some maturnity clothes. It was a bittersweet moment. I still fit in my normal jeans but decided I might as well take advantage of being able to wear elastic pants while I can. Elderly people have the right idea! If I could I would wear these forever! I still don't have a baby bump but I noticed that my midsection is just expanding all together. I can't wait til I actually look pregnant so my patients won't just think I have a gut.
I also had to buy myself some Crocs against my will for work. No offense to anyone that loves them or anything. But after working 3 12 hour shifts back to back my foot went numb so I decided to break down and buy some of the "nurse" shoes because they are the most comfortable shoes out there. My sister-in-law Leah and Mom got a kick out of it because just like I refuse to buy a mini van I was refusing to buy crocs. I guess I really am a mommy now when I choose comfort over style :)
All in all we are excited for little changes that are happening in our lives and can't wait for this big change to arrive! :)

Lions, Nolans and Bears Oh my!

So let me explain this picture a little better. Everyone that knows us knows we are an "interesting" family. Well when Nolan and I got married almost 4 years ago my parents as a joke got nolan an adult size tiger onsie for the honeymoon. (I guess my dad came out of the bathroom on my parents wedding night in a similar onsie.) I told you we are interesting. Anyways we found it a few days ago and Nolan finally tried it on for the first time. Its acutally a little too small. I guess they don't make Onsies for 6"4 guys LOL. I love my weird family!

Camping at Bear Canyon Lake

Over the weekend Nolan and I went camping with the Payne Family at Bear Canyon Lake. This is the view of the lake. We were only about 400 yards away from the water. It was so much fun.

This is a picture of the Payne Family Cameron, Corynn, and lil' Jakey. We played some horse shoe and cooked some really good food the whole trip with them.

This is me being Industrial. I don't think you would see Martha Stewart carrying her own fire wood would you...
This is Nolan being Manly with his chain saw cutting down " already fallen" trees for fire wood.

This is our family standing by the boat getting ready to go for a ride.

Fudgee Poo didn't like it that Daddy left her alone on shore. She tried to swim after him even though the water was freezing. She's a big daddy's girl.

This is us staring off into the sunset (minus the sunset part)

The whole trip I was trying to look for animals and as we were driving away Nolan and I found a small group of Elk crossing the road.

On our way out of the Camp grounds we drove by the Mogollon (sp) Rim and had to stop and take a picture. It was beautiful.

Our first Fruits

These are the first fruits from our garden. We got 5 little strawberries from our Strawberry plant and have a few more growing. The rest of our plants are not muture enough yet to produce fruit but are growing fast. This is my baby until the real baby comes. :)

Our Family Garden

We officially have a garden and no I have not killed it yet. Nolan created a sprinklet system for our lil garden and we have a mix of vegatables and fruits growing. I just planted some corn a few days ago. Hopefully that will grow nicely as well.

Missy's New Job at Banner

A Few weeks ago was hired to work as a CNA for Banner Baywood. We were thrilled!! This is my official badge. I wanted to take a picture of me in my scrubs but after a days worth of work I come home and discard of my work clothes immediately in the washer because of what they touched all day long. I prefer not to give my family coodies :) ( Thus the alcohol wipe in the upper right corner of the picture. I really do enjoy what I am doing and leave everyday happy that I was able to help people all day long get better. I'm excited to further my education and
get my RN.

Our Easter Palmer Style

So even though we don't have lil' ones at home the Easter bunny did come and visit the Palmer Family. We weren't able to open our Easter Baskets though until Nolan got off duty. Needless to say we got tons of goodies (which I am not able to eat because baby doesn't like anything unhealthy) But it was the thought that counted :)
